Our parent support sessions can help you discuss your concerns if you have a child or young person whose behaviour has changed or who is becoming more withdrawn. Being able to support without judgement can be helpful for your young person to feel heard and having a safe space to discuss your concerns with a therapist can support your journey.
Encouraging your child to engage in therapy can be a difficult process depending on where they are in their journey, you can seek help to talk about your fears and concerns to feel more able to support them.
What might bring you to a parent support session, my child has ?
- ASN needs , ADHD, Autism
- Emotional school based refusal
- Isolation
- Anxiety
- Phobias

- Friendships/ bullying
How long are sessions ?
Our sessions are 30 minutes and offer you an opportunity to discuss your concerns with the therapist, being able to articulate your worries and identify patterns of behaviour and coping strategies can be really helpful when you feel isolated and helpless. It takes a lot of energy to advocate for your child and you too need support.
