As an online therapist I offer after school and at the weekends counselling young people facing challenges. Having a safe place to talk with a counsellor can offer them opportunity to grow and reflect using a range of creative and reflective exercises.
Life can feel challenging with fear and anxiety and this can be escalated with demands in and out of school. Being avoidant and isolated can come with feeling anxious and can result in emotional school based refusal. Talking with an online therapist to identify triggers and find coping mechanisms can help young people take control back.
Are you diagnosed, awaiting diagnosis or self diagnosed with ADHD, Autism or other neurodiverse conditions. At any stage of the journey feelings can be heightened trying to understand what this means in the young persons world. As an online therapist who is Neurodiverse, I am aware of the challenges and can offer support to those looking for ways to emotionally regulate, understanding peer relationships, managing anxiety, reflecting on what it means to them.
At Busy minds we are non judgmental and listen to your young persons needs. It can be difficult to discuss challenges at home and having a impartial person to support can help facilitate processing and allow young people to develop strategies communicate and express their own needs without feeling judged.
Loss can be hard to process alone, this can vary on different types of loss and different stages your young person will be at. Therapy can allow young people to find ways to express emotion, talk about the loss with someone who has an emotional distance to the situation.
At Busy Minds Counselling, we understand that every young person has unique challenges. Our personalised therapy sessions are tailored to meet your specific needs, helping you navigate through life's complexities. We offer a safe and supportive environment where you can express your feelings openly and work towards meaningful change.
