Cancer support counselling

Cancer Support counselling for Individuals & Families affected by cancer

A cancer diagnosis affects far more than physical health. Whether you are living with cancer yourself, supporting a partner, caring for a child or parent, or coping with the uncertainty of treatment, it can feel emotionally overwhelming.

At Busy minds counselling, I believe that emotional support should be accessible during difficult times. I therefore offer a limited number of reduced fee counselling for individuals and family members affected by cancer.

Who is the service for?

  • Living with cancer diagnosis
  • A partner, parent, child or close family member supporting someone with cancer
  • Coping with anticipatory grief, fear and loss
  • People adjusting to life after cancer treatment
  • Individuals coping with anxiety, overwhelm, fear and emotional exhaustion

How counselling helps?

  • Manage anxiety and uncertainty
  • Process difficult emotions
  • Navigate changes within your family
  • Reduce feelings of isolation
  • Building coping strategies
  • Find time to focus on your won wellbeing while caring for others
  • Prepare for and process grief and loss

Reduced Fee Counselling

I believe emotional support should be accessible to everyone. A limited number of reduced fee counselling spaces are available for individuals and families  whose lives have been affected by cancer.

These spaces are offered subject to availability and are intended to make counselling more accessible during what can be a financially  and emotionally challenging time.
